Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor(DMIC) – The Vision And Plan
The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) stands as India's most ambitious infrastructure initiative, with a vision to cultivate new industrial cities as "Smart Cities" by integrating cutting-edge technologies across various infrastructure domains. DMIC is poised to transform into a global manufacturing and trading hub in the coming years.
Dholera, slated to be the largest node along the DMIC, is anticipated to lead as the first smart city under the aegis of the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC). It will boast state-of-the-art utility and logistics infrastructure, along with robust social amenities such as education, healthcare, and other public facilities, solidifying its position as a beacon of modern urban development.
